Every afternoon at 4 pm we have a free activity planned for you, with a little snifter of local plonk, to ease you into meeting all your fellow travellers. Around the volleyball court or on the beach as a sundowner. Enjoy our canoes on the beautiful Chintsa lagoon or grab a boogey board and have a go at boogeying the Chintsa waves. We have a fun, sparkly pool area that is just divine in the warm summer months. With a ping pong table deck chairs and loungers, shady quiet areas to while away the sunlighthours when the incredible Chintsa beach becomes too hot.(NOT!)
Horseriding on the Beach
Passionate Penny and the “horse girls” from Newhampshire Rehabilitation Horse Farm provide the opportunity to experience a Brilliant Bush and Beach Ride best suited to your riding level. A heart thumping, hoof pounding, wave splashing experience.
Every Thursday during school terms we take our guests to experience a wonderful school concert at a local farm school up the road. Donations are welcome, with funds raised helping the lunch feeding scheme at the school.
The malaria-free Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve near East London is home the Big Five game, Elephant, Lion, and Buffalo, Rhino and the elusive Leopard as well as many other fascinating animals both big and small. Due to its unique position adjacent to the coast, guests could also spot a Southern Right Whale along these shores in season.
Our craft shop houses a beautiful collection of locally inspired and produced craft. Most items are linked to sustainable poverty alleviation projects in South Africa and Chintsa. Support local, buy local!
The stunning Chintsa beach is a hop, skip and jump from Buccaneers which means that watersports are a must. Buccs offers a fully qualified surf coach with all equipment and wetsuits provided, for an exhilearting lesson that will get you riding a wave by the end of your stay.
Join us for a twice weekly class of yoga, taught by the lovely Cher, in our yoga pagoda, nested in forested quietness.
